The thread is meant to be about making other users know when a game that seldom is on sale, is discounted. I don´t intend the thread to be about making lists or tracking certain games or anything like that. I intend the thread to be simple. Whoever feels like posting, please do so.

There I go with the first one: Fictorum, at 74% discount.

https://www.gog.com/game/fictorum

It hasn´t been on sale since last summer and it has only been on sale once, last year.

The game looks interesting.

Blackwood Crossing

Last time it was on sale was in November 2019.
Blackwood Crossing is not discounted. I meant the thread to be about posting the games that finally get discounts after a long period of time of not being on sale. A way to warn people who might be interested in jumping at the opportunity to buy them.
There was another thread for games that hardly go on sale, although that one often becomes abandoned and doesn't have the "is on sale" condition.

Both of which aren't currently on sale. Reading isn't really that hard, my dude!

Larian's DOS2 for sure, Ive seen it on sale like a few time and its years ols.
OP, maybe you should request that a moderator change the title to "Games that rarely go on sale and NOW are on sale."
I think the "now" should be emphasized to avoid being confused with the other thread in this theme.

Anyway, I don't have any games to add. Those I have been eyeing for that reason, like Blackwood Crossing and Undertale, are (to absolutely no one's surprise) NOT on sale once again.

I used to have a Magog query I prepared exactly with this focus, but alas Magog is retired and living out her days in peace elsewhere. If anyone has an alternative let me know please.

Maybe hang a few arrows pointing to that "now" for emphasis too. Because reading is obviously too hard for most people.
*sigh* good suggestions...

On isthereanydeal.com you can set alerts for the games you're interested in: you can specify which stores to track and the maximum price (or minimum price cut) needed to trigger the notification. Of course you have to be comfortable opening an account there.
Undertale
Blackwood Crossing

2 years since the previous discount, thanks to Alexim for this info.

ITAD is a good tool, but it does only part of the functionality I wanted.

I was imagining that, if a game is almost never on sale but now it is, maybe I should give it a bit deeper look just in case it is a gem that wasn't really in my radar. Losing the chance at the then current sale might lead to a few years' wait, or never getting the hidden gem at all. Magog allowed me to look at the whole catalog by order of how long it went without a discount. I could easily check ALL games that were above the 1-year mark, especially if I filtered out games already in my library and those I tagged "Not Interested".

Still, ITAD is not a bad idea for specific games I am already interested in. I never thought to use it with these games that never go on sale in mind. Thanks for pointing it out.

Gibbous goes on sale regularly, but the current prices are an all time low. This is the cheapest the game has ever been to the extent that even the Steam prices have never been this low.

To be fair, the topic title is far from any proper English way of expressing the intended meaning; the current (colloquial) phrasing is one that works better in spoken English than written. I would guess that many relatively fluent second-language English readers who're not as familiar with spoken English could misconstrue it pretty easily (even leaving aside the possibility of simply misreading).

You're right.
I apologize for being a bit too harsh.. I will amend my post above.
