is there any way to use photoshop in linux
Much in the same way one could hypothetically dig to China with nothing more than a plastic play shovel and a map, yes.

If you're using Linux, you'll have to seek other software.

Its really a good idea to ask in the specific forums for the product:

Use GIMP. It's free, it's powerful, it's user friendly, and it's fully capable of doing everything that Photoshop is doing.
Most of the unix distros have GIMP included by default, if your for some reason is lacking it, just go to https://www.gimp.org/downloads/ and dl it

Gimp has had a single pane view for a while, if that's the main complaint.

Though, in retroactive revisionism, I'd rather suggest people use Krita.

Another vote for GIMP. It's not only handy, but covers the misses face from time to time >;)

Looks like we have a joker here.

While Gimp does have its merits, usability and user-friendliness aren't in those.

If you don't manage to get PS working via Wine or something, Krita is okay as a substitute. It's not quite as good but it at least tries to be a bit like it in terms of general operation, keyboard shortcuts, etc.
+1 for Krita, although it's more painting-oriented than photo editing.
GIMP gets my vote too, does everything I need a PS substitute to.
+1 for Gimp and Krita, good for raster graphics editing.
If in need for more photography workflow, then you could check or RawTherapee.
There's info about Wine tests and different photoshop versions, yell if you haven't seen them.
Last I checked, the version that you can subscribe to atm doesn't look like it's supported as well as older versions are via Wine.

If you need the latest Photoshop version: buy Windows for $ and dual boot into it whenever you need to make a quit edit on a picture, then boot back into Linux. Hopefully you're using a SSD or you can setup a virtual install of Windows (I've never done it in Linux)

There's a part in a Johnathan Blow (made Braid/the Witness) speech about Photoshop, he used that as an analagoy of what everybody else uses and industry standards may not be the best: no joke
GIMP is extremely powerful. Use nightly release, when possible.

Agree! When it comes to painting, I actually think it is the better product.
