I just purchased Divinity Original Sin 2 and started downloading the 8 required files. I have a pretty good internet connection 125Mbps Down and 20Mbps Up. I checked my connection several times and I don't have any problem. Except downloading from GOG. I started the download(s) at 4:33PM and it's now 5:54PM and they are still not all down. So I guess my question is, is this normal for GOG?

Is it via galaxy or browser download or download manager or something else? I don't have ds2 so can't check but what is the size? Big files will take a long time to download, also depends on how many concurrent downloads you can have going, I can download four files at once, any more slow all of them.
It's normal to see a thread about it every few days or so, but not so normal that it seems to be an across-the-board problem.

Hopefully that made some sense. Basically, it appears to affect someone every once in a while (based on the occasional thread), but not everybody all at once. Which makes it tough to track down a cause, whether gOg or from somewhere else.
depends on your ISP and the load sharing going on at the time of your download, if your doing it between 2PM and 8PM yes it will take forever to download, as they may provide 100mbps but your sharing it with everyone on line at the same time, wnere as if you wait till 2 am it will speed up conciderably.

How are you downloading it? I had the same issue with downloading the separate files (my speed would crawl), so I used the GOG downloader and it works at intended full speed. If you need the downloader just type 'GOG downloader' in Google -> download said game through its GOG downloader links.

just to add - divinity original sin 2 is about 26, 27 GB . So ya at fullspeed it should take about35 minutes if it's a 100mbit connection. Using Galaxy you usually should get full speed
