Hi there,

I reinstalled my PC yesterday and of course reinstalled the GOG Launcher. But it's stuck with the Rockstar plugin.

I can enter my login data, then there is a message to wait a moment and then the window stays gray. However, the link is not successful. The actual Rockstar Launcher is also installed and the login works there.

Does anyone else have this problem and can help?

Thank you very much and greetings from Germany

The Rockstar plugin login gets stuck for me too. No clue how to resolve it right now. There's already some people reporting the issue in the Github page.

As it is a third party plugin I would recommend just keeping an eye on the github page for when or if the author fixes it.

Looks like the author fixed it, but it'll take a few days for the plugin to update. Until then, the workaround is to go to %LOCALAPPDATA%\GOG.com\Galaxy\plugins\installed\rockstar and find the "consts" file, open it, find the "start_uri" line, and add "&returnUrl=/" to the end of the "https://signin.rockstargames.com/connect/authorize/srg?lang-en-US" line.

Just encountered this issue today on trying to connect to Rockstar for the first time - solution works a charm, thanks

Just so this is clear for everyone, your edited line should end up like this "start_uri": "https://signin.rockstargames.com/connect/authorize/rsg?lang=en-US&returnUrl=/",
in my case, despite adding this, it still does not connect all the time it shows connecting the RGL itself is normally logged in, but the G.O.G plug still seems to be trying

Yes, the solution works.
ok it worked just lost one sign / , but still refuses to load games from RGL . Since he loses his List, it is empty here

Another workaround is to go to the Github page, download the source "Code," and copy the "src" folder contents to the Rockstar plugin folder (maybe the "consts" file is enough).

This totally worked for me. Thank you, you legend!

Thank you this worked for me. The consts didn't do it.
Line in consts.py should be exactly like this (remove space):

"start_uri": "https : //signin.rocks targames . com/connect/authorize/rsg?lang=en-US&amp&returnUrl=/"

Above someone badly shared a line with ; instead of &

I've played around today and found that line which I've pasted works fine

YES! Thanks.
The correct line is visable in the new code.

And the line is:
"start_uri": "ht-tps://signin.rockstargames.com/connect/authorize/rsg?lang=en-US&returnUrl=/",
(this gets converted by forum into clickable url and the text is formated incorrectly when copied. Not sure how to disable this, so remove the "-" in https after copy)

Edit the file:
consts.py (line 44)

From the location:
%LOCALAPPDATA%\GOG.com\Galaxy\plugins\installed\rockstar_****
